Dr. Suhas Mahesh

Suhas received his doctorate in physics from the University of Oxford in 2020, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. His doctoral work, conducted under Prof. Henry Snaith, studied the optoelectronic properties of perovskite semiconductors, especially for tandem photovoltaics. His bachelor’s degree in physics (highest honours) is from the Indian Institute of Science (2016). Suhas joined the Sargent group in July 2021 as a recipient of the prestigious Schmidt Science Fellowship. His current research interests include photovoltaics, energy materials, and ML-aided automated materials discovery.
